
Penang Local has been busy reviewing events from the opening weekend of George town festival.
The sensational Suara asean last night marked the start of the annual month long George town festival.
It’s a show that gives tribute to South East Asian voices and celebrates our traditions and culture.
The line up includes:
- The Penang philharmonic Orchestra.

Anchee, Thailand who was the semi finalist in the voice Thailand season 4

Gus Teja, Indonesia who is the lead musician/flutist of Gus Teja World music, a leading Balinese music group.

Sean Ghazi, Malaysia who has sang in several musicals including Miss Saigon, Anna and the King and Rent.

Adibah Noor, Malaysia is a multi talented personality with a big voice. She sings, acts and MCs.

Philippine Madrigal singers, is a multi award winning choral group. They won the prestigious European Grand Prix not once but twice.

Guest staring Koh Saxman who will perform at the star Building on the 29 July 2017. 8pm.
